Watch: Virat Kohli Mocks Hardik Pandya After Smacking Him For A Boundary

Gujarat Titans (GT) captain Hardik Pandya and Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) batter Virat Kohli was seen mocking as their teams clashed in the 67th match of the IPL 2022 at the Wankhede Stadium in Mumbai on May 19, 2022.

GT captain Hardik Pandya won the toss and chose to bat first. GT made one change as Lockie Ferguson came in for Alzarri Joseph and RCB brought in Siddharth Kaul for Mohammed Siraj.

They lost Shubman Gill early thanks to an excellent catch by Maxwell at slips. Then Matthew Wade walked in to join Wriddhiman Saha who was in good touch and made 16 in 13 balls with 2 fours and one six to his name.

Then Matthew Wade showed some good hitting abilities, stroking 2 fours and 1 six in his 13-ball 16-run knock before he was adjudged LBW by the on-field and TV umpires despite DRS replays showing a faint edge to the ball before it hit the pads.

However, Hardik Pandya played a captain’s knock, scoring 62* in 47 balls with 4 fours and 3 sixes, and thanks to contributions from David Miller (34) and Rashid Khan (19*) took the final score for the Gujarat Titans to 168/5 in 20 overs.

In the 4th over, Virat Kohli hit a boundary to Hardik Pandya on an inside edge which went for a four and Kohli celebrated that shot and the result.

On the next ball itself, Kohli moved to the leg side and hit Pandya by picking the ball towards the deep square leg.  Rashid Khan who was stationed at the position tried to come in and catch the ball, but in the end, had to make a leap for it.

But the ball didn’t stick to his hand and went for a four. In the aftermath, Kohli was seen mocking Pandya with a gesture as Pandya stood in shock.
