Veteran India National Cricket Team pacer Bhuvneshwar Kumar got the breakthrough for the Rishabh Pant-led side in the first over of the second T20I against South Africa National Cricket Team.
The second T20 International match of the five-match T20 International series between India and South Africa is being played at the Barabati Stadium, Cuttack on Sunday, June 12.
Veteran India pacer Bhuvneshwar looked dangerous with the ball in the first over while defending the target, as the pitch was helping the bowlers and the Indian pacers were getting a lot of swing.
Reeza Hendricks, who came in as a replacement for injured Quinton de Kock in the second T20I, was able to score just 4 runs off 3 balls, including one boundary, in the match before getting dismissed by Bhuvneshwar on the 6th ball of the first over.
The Indian pacer bowled an inswinger on a good length to the Proteas opener and the ball nipped back in. Reeza Hendricks was not ready to face the brilliant delivery of the Indian pacer and he was beaten on the inside edge and the ball crashed into the off-stump.

Anrich Nortje cleaned up opener Ishan Kishan with a bouncer in the 7th over and the young opener got out after scoring 34 runs off 21 balls, including 2 fours and 3 sixes. Then, India lost the quick wickets of Rishabh Pant, Hardik Pandya, Shreyas Iyer and Axar Patel.
In the end, wicketkeeper-batsman Dinesh Karthik scored 30 runs and bowling all-rounder Harshal Patel scored 12 runs to help India score 148/6.
