Delhi Capitals (DC) spinner Kuldeep Yadav further strengthened his team’s grip on the game by dismissing Punjab Kings (PBKS) batter Liam Livingstone and virtually ending PBKS’ hopes.
Chasing 160, PBKS started well but they collapsed after the fall of Bhanuka Rajapaksa. From 53/1 in the 6th over, PBKS fell to 61/5 in the 8th, with Livingstone being the latest victim.
The Englishman, who has been PBKS’ best batter in the IPL 2022 season by far, had to shoulder the responsibility and take PBKS closer. However, his one-dimensional mindset was on display.
He jumped down the track to Kuldeep and swung hard only to miss. Rishabh Pant did the rest behind the stumps and Livingstone had to go after scoring 3 runs in 5 balls.
